Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at the 2020 Made in BC Expo. This year’s exciting expo will include several industry pavilions, a children’s Curiosity Park, an Artisan zone, live music, special performances, food trucks, over 50 exhibitors surrounding the covered exterior of the Powwow Arbour…and more!

The Made in BC Expo celebrates busines in BC. All businesses in BC are welcome to apply to exhibit, however, must meet the following requirements to be featured within the expo:

Businesses must showcase:
  • Products made in BC
  • Experiences made in BC
  • Services provided in BC

If a business holds a Chamber membership in a community within the Province of BC, the business will be able to purchase booth space at the exclusive-member rate. All other businesses are welcome to purchase booth space at the regular rate.

  • Not-for-profit organizations
  • Community associations
  • Charities
  • Causes

No political campaigns or causes are invited to exhibit at Made in BC. Due to grounds regulations, no animals may be on grounds during event and no alcoholic beverages or tobacco products may be displayed or available for purchase.

All applications will be reviewed by the Made in BC team and exhibitors will be notified a maximum of 1 week following their application.


Booths will be available for purchase upon acceptance into the Made in BC Expo. All exhibits at this location will be “outdoors”, however, the Powwow Arbour provides direct overhead protection from weather elements such as rain and snow through its roofline. Please contact to discuss further if you are not familiar with this event location. Pricing is as follows:

Larger Exhibitor Booth Size & price to be negotiated

Regular Booth includes: Pipe and Drape 8′ back and 3′ side walls*, skirted table. All other equipment and A/V requirements will come at an additional cost to exhibitors. Artisan exhibits must bring their own tables/display platforms. Larger exhibitor booth inclusions to be negotiated based on needs. Please note, power is NOT included with booths. Should you require power, this can be made available to you for an additional cost through our show services provider GK Sound.

Though outside, all Exterior Arbour exhibit spaces are well covered from the elements.

Move In/Move Out

Set-up will take place on Friday April 17, 2020 from 9am to 1pm and again on Saturday April 18, 2020 from 7am to 10am. All exhibitors MUST have their booth/items set-up complete by show opening at 10am on April 18.

Tear-down will take place on Saturday April 18, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm. No exhibitor shall dismantle or remove any part of their exhibit before show closing at 5pm. Should you start to dismantle prior to 5pm, you will not be invited back in future years and will be fined $500.

 For safety reasons, no children under the age of 16 yrs will be allowed on grounds during move-in/move-out periods. Please contact Made In BC Management should you need to discuss this further.

Note: Those approved to exhibit after completing the registration of interest to exhibit at the bottom of this page will be contacted and given a private link where they may specify their top 3 booth locations of choice (final location will be at the discretion of event management). Booth choices will not be confirmed until payment is received. First come, first served.

Event Policies

Please note, power is NOT included with exhibitor booths. Should you require power, this can be arranged throughout show services provider GK Sound for an additional cost. Exhibitors must bring their own extension cords and power bars. Any special needs must be made known to the Made in BC Management at the time of registration. Exhibitors may indicate location preference, however booth location will be at the discretion of Made in BC Management.

Products Exhibited

Products exhibited are limited to those products identified and approved on the exhibit registration form and contract. Only products/services provided by the exhibitor shall be permitted for sale.

Staffing of Exhibits

Exhibitors must staff their exhibits at all times during the show.

Alteration of Exhibits

In an effort to best serve the interests of the show, Made in BC Management reserves the right at any time, without prior notification, to alter exhibits, aisles, common areas, feature size, booth locations or those exhibits which unduly hamper visibility to other displays. Made in BC Management’s decision is final in this regard.

Subletting of Exhibit Space

Subletting of exhibitor space is prohibited.


Each exhibitor must have their own liability insurance for a minimum amount of $2 Million with the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and Blue Sky Consulting Ltd. added as an additional insured (at no charge). All property exhibited is at the exhibitor’s sole risk, and neither Made in BC management, nor building owners will assume any responsibility for the safety of exhibits against theft, robbery, fire, accidents or other mishaps.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Exhibitors are liable for the full amount of the contracted space. Any monies paid are non-refundable and booths are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Payment of Account

Accounts must be paid in full within five days of receiving the invoice and prior to exhibit day. Made in BC Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any exhibitor whose account has not been paid in full. Exhibitors may choose to purchase more than one booth space.

Labour Disputes
In the event of a labour dispute resulting in “picket activity” either as a result of an exhibitor labour dispute or any other action (including information line), Made in BC will not be liable for any loss of revenue from lack of consumer participation. If the exhibitor can eliminate any action by removal of their exhibit, they will be required to do so without compensation for the unused exhibit space.
General Public Admission

Please note this expo is free of charge for members of the general public to visit and attend. All exhibitors will receive a complementary exhibitor badge upon arrival at Tk’emlups te Secwepemc Powwow Grounds.

Show Cancellation

Made in BC Management reserves the right at all times to change the dates of the show or to cancel the show altogether in cases or circumstances beyond the control of Made in BC Management, without the Exhibitor having any right to any compensation for any losses, costs, expenses or damage which arise out of or are in any way connected with such change or cancellation. Only monies paid will be returned in the event of a show cancellation.

Food & Beverage Services On Site

Food trucks will be invited to be on-site during the expo to provide food and beverage services. Items can be purchased at your own cost.

Exhibitor Resources

Upon successful approval of an exhibitor application, applicants will receive access to an Exhibitor Resources kit.

Additional Terms & Conditions

All expo services are subject to 5% GST. Full payment is to be submitted, upon acceptance of the registration by the Made in BC Management, and it shall be a legally binding contract between the exhibitor and the Made in BC Management. As noted above, this venue is an outdoor event venue. All exhibits will be beneath a covered roof area that will protect your display from direct rain/snow etc, however, should there be wind, exhibitors will be responsible for properly tying down/securing their own exhibit materials. Provided pipe and drape will be secured by event staff prior to exhibitor move-in. 


Application process:

  1. Please complete the digital application below and click “submit” to send off your application request to the Made in BC team for review
  2. Within 1 week (5 business days) of application, you will be notified by the Made in BC team as to the status of your application (only those who fit within the Made in BC platform of providing products/services/experiences within BC will be accepted)
  3. Upon acceptance of your application, you will be sent a private link for booth payment, be asked to specify your top three booth location choices and be sent an Exhibitor Resources package
